Read Free For 30 Days. They also have the full script in the back of the book if the student wants to follow along. They pull certain words from the audio segments and use them to create vocab. The topics are quite interesting and spark lots of great conversation. So for this sort of thing, there is nothing I've found that students enjoy more. They do also have sections on grammar and pronunciation, which I usually skip. They are not that great, and we cover those topics in other books.

this is my favorite series for teaching ESL listening/speaking skills to adults. I especially like levels 4 & 5, because they use authentic excerpts from NPR radio broadcasts for their audio segments. You really can't use the books without the audio CD's, but they must be purchased.
