I just took a clear blue pregnancy test it came back positive and with a book is it a false positive or not? Hi, the book symbol usually means an error, check out the clearblue website. Its unusual for it say positive too though. I would just retake another test and make sure you are following the instructions properly as each brand test is different. If was my first pee and not even a minute later the book disappered and it still just says pregnant!

Either you didnt hold it in your urine long enough or you didnt hold it at an angle pointing downward in your urine. Yes you can reuse it you just need a new test stick all the arrow with a book means is that you either peed to much or to little on the stick or you had it held at the wrong angle while peeing on it so it was unable to read any results. It means it was inconclusive and you probably need to take another one. Some times it will do that if you don't pee on it enough my advise to you is to pee in a cup and dip the stick in the cup then you'll know for sure that it's going to work.
