I also reviewed the TP a few days ago, the 13 inch member of this Transformer Book Flip series, and you might want to check it out as well, especially if interested in a similar, but more compact device. The form factor sets this Asus ultrabook apart from most other 15 inchers out there. The screen folds backs to degrees, allowing you to use the device in several different modes: laptop, stand, tent or tablet. In other words, as long as you can get used to the bulk and the weight, you should be fine with this Transformer Book, even if you want to use it in any other mode than as a standard laptop.

Middle-class convertible. The predecessors' displays didn't exactly impress because of their low resolution and subpar brightness. Asus improved the Transformer Book Flip somewhat in that regard, but the new convertible is still decidedly average. We'll explain why in the following review. Lenovo really hit the bullseye with their Yoga-series of convertibles, which is one of the reasons why convertibles with degree hinges are growing in size: while most entries featured displays between 13 and 14 inches early on, inch screen have become increasingly common. Leonovo's Yoga-series is facing stiff competition from other manufacturers, Asus being one of them.
Asus has a strong pedigree in the multimodal notebooks.
