HANDBOOK OF OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY—Sixth EditionThe handbook includes skills and competencies that both organizations believe to be essential for medical students participating in professional exchanges in this area. Every year, about medical students go on a professional exchange with IFMSA in Obstetrics and Gynecology departments, making it the 3rd most chosen one. Therefore, we are very excited to have a student handbook reviewed by FIGO specifically for these students to guide them throughout their clerkship, ensuring that their learning experience is relevant to their medical curriculum. The main purpose of the program is to promote cultural understanding and co-operation amongst medical students and all health professionals, through the facilitation of international student exchanges. The new checklist will immediately be implemented in the IFMSA exchange program and will determine successful completion of an exchange in Obstetrics and Gynecology before certification.
