With harbor views, comfortable spaces, and an all around warm environment, I sincerely love it here. Additionally, the coffee was fresh, made to order and the white chocolate biscotti was delicious.

Lovely little bookshop. The owners are knowledgeable about what they carry, can make great Turn off Rte 1 in Camden, onto Bay View Street and you will find the best bookstore - and coffee shop - north of Boston. The owners are knowledgeable about what they carry, can make great recommendations, and clearly care about their store. Well worth a visit.
Elaine Knight had been dabbling in real estate at the time and brought the listing home to her husband. We just funded it. Both native Mainers, the Knights owned the Ducktrap Motel for 10 years before they sold it. We have a great morning crowd and an afternoon push most every day. This is Owl - by Kayleigh O'Mara (Children's story book reading)
She is a professional writer and life-long book worm, with a bachelor's in English from Colby College, and a masters degree in communication. Craig is an engineer and entrepreneur who most recently ran his own property management company. The couple grew up in the same town in Massachusetts, and have returned to New England after years of living and building careers in Charleston, S. The Whites will continue the bookstore's tradition of book signings by well-known authors, and offering readings. By February, they will launch an updated website, and a revival of one of store's previous logos. The Whites will "finely tune" the shop's inventory, section by section, and are working on plans to recreate a larger and more comfortable children's area for readings and story time, and rearrange the cafe seating, possibly adding cafe seating upstairs. The authors are so nice, and will often stop by within a few days of being asked to sign a book, Craig said.
The owners and locals make you feel welcome. The best latte you will ever have and great pastries too. Wonderful selection of books and lots of local writers. Great selection of recent books and classics. I bought a book on Knots. And they have great cards!
